YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 11, ARMENPRESS. Five people died in the result of the explosion of bombs, which fell on the bus of the Holy TranslatorsArmenian National School, on November 11. Our compatriot Nazaret Elmajian residing in Damascus informed it in a conversation with “Armenpress” adding that one of the victims is Armenian, the others are Arabs. Three of them are children; the fourth is the driver of the bus. It is already known that the victim is 6-year-old Hovhannes Atokamian. Nazaret Elmajian also informed that ten injured children were moved to hospital in the result of the bomb, three of them are in the operation room now. The identity of the injured people is not clear yet.
A bomb fell on a bus belonging to the Armenian school in the Christian neighborhood of Bab Shark Damascus on November 11. Our compatriot Nazaret Elmajian residing in Damascus informed it in a conversation with “Armenpress” adding that the alumnus fell on the bus of the Holy TranslatorsArmenian National School, which was carrying pupils.
Syrian SANA agency also informs that alumnus fell on the school in the district of Kassa, in the result of which eleven pupils were injured; the building of the school had material damages. Another alumnus fell on the bus carrying children in Bab Shark district. In the result of that, five children and two citizens were injured.
According to informal information, more than 120 people became victims of the Syrian conflict, including several dozen Armenians.
