Emil Babayan to appoint Armenia’s Deputy Prosecutor General

YEREVAN, OCTOBER 17, ARMENPRESS. Today the president of the Republic of Armenia, Serzh Sargsyan has signed a decree on appointing Emil Babayan in the position of the Deputy Prosecutor General of the Republic of Armenia. As Armenpress was informed by Information and Public Relations Department of the President’s Staff of the Republic of Armenia, the President of the Republic of Armenia has made the appointment according to the 9th point of Article 55 of the Constitution of the Republic of Armenia taking as a basis the 2nd part of Article 36 of the Law of the Republic of Armenia about the "Prosecutor's Office".

By another decree, the President of the Republic of Armenia, Serzh Sargsyan has suspended Emil Babayan’s authorizations on being a member of the Ethics Committee of senior officials.
