YEREVAN, OCTOBER 14, ARMENPRESS: After the Food Safety and Quality Inspection of the Republic of Armenia found violations in 2012, the quality of the food has increased by 70%. The Head of the Food Safety and Quality Inspection Arman Araratyan stated about it at the press conference, adding that the food inspections are planned to be held every year.
Araratyan stated that the economic entities, the productions of which raised the discontent of the society, are being studies by the instructions of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Tigran Sargsyan. “We are guided by the Law and we do not have the right to be mistaken”, - said the Head of the Food Safety and Quality Inspection.
In the end of 2010 with the decree of the Government of Armenia quite an efficient mechanism was introduced to inspect the food quality. On this ocassion the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Tigran Sargsyan stated that the food, sold in the Republic, should be of high quality and safe.
