Armenian chess players registered modest results in Spain

YEREVAN, JULY 15, ARMENPRESS: The Grand Master Karen Grigoryan scored 6 points out of 10 and took the 9th place among 83 participants at the open that was held in Barcelona, Spain. As Armenpress was reported by the Armenian Chess Federation, the Grand Master Hovik Hayrapetyan’s result was 5,5 points.

The winner of the tournament with 7,5 points was the Grand Master Christian Cruz (Peru).

The Armenian Grand Master Karen Movsziszian scored 7 points out of 10 and took the 22nd place among 408 participants at the open that was held in Benasque, Spain.

The Grand Masters Eduardo Itturizaga (Venezuela), Maxim Rodshtein (Israel) and Alexander Delchev (Bulgaria) scored 8,5 points each. By the tie-break the winner of the tournament was Eduardo Itturizaga.
