“Shirak” defeated “Tre Penne” 3:0

YEREVAN, JULY 2, ARMENPRESS: Armenian champion “Shirak” Gyumri defeated the champion of San Marino “Tre Penne”. “Armenpress” reports that on the 36th, 54th and 64th minutes scored goals player from Africa Fofana Beco becoming author of hat-trick.

The match was held in framework of Champions League first qualification round. The response match will take place on July 10.

The winner of the couple will face Serbian champion “Partizan” in the next leg.

Shirak F.C. was founded in the city of Gyumri in theArmenian SSR, in 1958. During the 1970s, the club played under the nameOlympia. The team participated in 3 different European cups:Champions League,UEFA CupandIntertoto Cup. In 2012-13 Shirak F.C. played in theUEFA Europa Leagueand advanced to the second round with a 2-1 aggregate victory overFK Rudar Pljevlja.
