Rex Kalamian joins Chicago Bulls coaching staff

Rex Kalamian, head coach of the Armenian men’s national basketball team, has joined the NBA’s Chicago Bulls as an assistant coach.

The Basketball Federation of Armenia announced the appointment in a statement.

The veteran coach, who has 34 years of NBA experience, will work with one of the league’s most renowned franchises in the upcoming season while continuing to serve as head coach of Armenia’s national team.

Throughout his coaching career, Kalamian has worked with several NBA clubs. He has led the Armenian men’s national basketball team since 2022.
