Doing Business: Businesswoman makes European standard cosmetic products out of Armenian mountainous plants

The small-to-medium business is of a certain importance for the steadfast economic growth of a country, as it gives innovational impulses to the economy. Armenpress News Agency highly appreciates the significant role the small-to-medium business plays; each week Armenpress introduces business stories regarding various branches of economy. This time the project is dedicated to the story of a businesswoman Zaruhi Andreasyan, making European standard cosmetic products out of the Armenian mountainous plants.

YEREVAN, MAY 23, ARMENPRESS: The 45-year-old Zaruhi Andreasyan established her company “Innovative Technologies Center” in 1998, making cosmetic products out of plants. They produced skin care products. After that the Company began exporting its natural products, first to Ukraine, from where Zaruhi got positive feedback. After that they decided to expand the sorts of the care means, thus making the number of the kinds of the creams to 12. The creams have not only care function, but also pain relieving and healing properties.

The Company, established by Zaruhi Andreasyan, INSI NTK CJSC, has been awarded with different prizes. The most significant prize she got at the official awarding ceremony of the Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan the “Best Women Entrepreneur”contest in 2013. The RA Prime Minister had announced the “Best Women Entrepreneur” Award contest to inspire women entrepreneurs’ creativity in RA economic development, to appreciate their achievements in different spheres of economy, to provide publicity and support to Armenian business women.

It is difficult for Zaruhi Andreasyan to imagine the future of the work. She advises the start-ups and new business persons not to be scared of their ideas and their implementation.
