Doing Business: Tourism development in Armenia prompted 25-year Daniel Avanesyan to establish guide service

The small-to-medium business is of a certain importance for the steadfast economic growth of a country, as it gives innovational impulses to the economy. "Armenpress" News Agency highly appreciates the significant role the small-to-medium business plays; each week "Armenpress" introduces business stories regarding various branches of economy. This time the project is dedicated to the story of a young businessman, providing services of a guide, who advises the start-ups not to be afraid of anything and run the risk.

YEREVAN, MAY 16, ARMENPRESS: Daniel Avanesyan is 25. He has got a two-year working experience in the field of tourism business. Last year he studied the sphere and understood that tourism is developing in Armenia and could provide Daniel with income.

Daniel started his business from the November of the previous year. The season has not yet been opened but the young businessman has already accompanied several groups of tourists to Garni, Geghard, Sevan, Dilijan, Noravank, Khor Virap and even Tbilisi, the capital of Georgia. Upon the completion of the corresponding business training, Daniel Avanesyan had enough skills of the English language to provide services of an accompanying guide.
