Arthur Baghdasaryan: Main struggle in Yerevan Council elections goes between Taron Margaryan and Armen Yeritsyan

YEREVAN, APRIL 6, ARMENPRESS: The main struggle in the Yerevan city Council elections will go between the current Mayor Taron Margaryan and the candidate from the Rule of Law Party Armen Yeritsyan. According to Armenpress, this announcement was made by the Leader of the Rule of Law Party, the Secretary of the National Security Council of the Republic of Armenia Arthur Baghdasaryan.
“This is not a political but people’s election. We do see the great work implemented by Taron Margaryan but at the same time we announce that we could have done more showing the done work and potential of our candidate Armen Yeritsyan”, - said the Leader of the Rule of Law Party.
According to Baghdasaryan, Armen Yeritsyan has all the necessary skills to govern the capital. The Secretary of the National Security Council of the Republic of Armenia believes that in the proposed candidates there are people, who have never managed even one community.
“We think that at present a healthy political competitiveness environment has been created in the country and all the political forces have the opportunity to present their programs and ideas”, - said the Leader of the Rule of Law Party.
The Yerevan city Council elections will take place on May 5 and the political forces will struggle for 65 places in the Yerevan Council. The campaign will launch on April 7 and will end on May 3.
