The Secretary of the Armenia’s National Security Council met with the representatives of Carrefour to express his support.

“This network of French supermarkets will have to enter the Armenian market by all means, in the result of which our local producers will have the opportunity to join the international marketplace. It will foster the strengthening of competitiveness, weakness of monopolies and economic liberalization”, - said Arthur Baghdasaryan.

The Secretary of the Armenia’s National Security Council informed as well that the Rule of Lawparty was developing a new draft law to reduce the number of large supermarkets in different districts of the city. “Thus we will support the small and medium enterprises”, - stated Arthur Baghdasaryan and added that in the connection of the abovementioned draft law an agreement had been achieved with the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Tigran Sargsyan.
