House-building program to be implemented in Shirak villages

GYUMRI, APRIL 2, ARMENPRESS: Construction works of more than 20 billion AMD will be carried out in Shirak Marz with different resources in 2013. The major part of them will be apartment building. Works in this field will cost more than 8 billion and 600 million AMD.

As Armenpress correspondent was informed by the Head of the Urban Construction Department of Shirak Municipality Staff Albert Margaryan, 8 dwelling houses with 428 apartments would be built in Gyumri, 4 dwelling houses with 136 apartments would be built in Akhuryan and 4 buildings with 67 apartments would be built in Maralik social district.

In the village communities of the Marz as well a house-building program will be implemented this year, according to which about 140-150 apartments will be built. Nevertheless, this number is not final. “All these works will be carried out by the state budget means, mainly by the instructions of the Ministry of Urban Development of the Republic of Armenia”, - stated Albert Margaryan.

In 2012 different resources allocated 26 billion and 700 million AMD to the urban development field of Shirak Marz, 16 billion and 500 million AMD of which was spent on apartment building.
