Famous trumpeter Sergei Nakariakov and pianist Maria Meerovitch to have joint concert in Yerevan

YEREVAN, MARCH 14, ARMENPRESS: World number one trumpet-player Sergei Nakariakov and renowned piano player Maria Meerovitch are scheduled to have a joint concert in Yerevan on March 15. Concert conductor is Djong Victorin Yu (South Korea). Djong Victorin Yu told the reporters on March 14, he has been visiting Armenia for already third time. "I like to work with the Armenian Philharmonic Orchestra (APO) very much, like any other orchestra it has its peculiarities," the conductor stated. In the words of the musician philharmonic has an emotional approach to the music. "To me it's like the Armenian cuisine, a combination of opposing elements, which makes the entire process interesting," noted.

World famous trumpet-player Sergei Nakariakov stated that the trumpet-player repertoire is not large, yet he is satisfied by the concert program. The musician notes that he enjoys his visits to Yerevan very much.

Pianist Maria Meerovitch noted she has been in Armenia seven years ago and she was much impressed during her last visit."Armenian Philharmonic Orchestra like all the Armenians is very warm. Your country has many things to be proud of," pianist assured.
