Armenia, Germany sign document to strengthen cultural cooperation

A Joint Declaration of Intent on cooperation in the field of culture was signed between the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports of Armenia and the Federal Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Federal Republic of Germany.
According to the Armenian Ministry of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports, the document was signed by Minister Zhanna Andreasyan and the Ambassador of Germany to Armenia, Claudia Busch. Deputy Minister Artur Martirosyan also attended the event.
Minister Andreasyan welcomed the attendees and emphasized the importance of cooperation between the two friendly countries. She highlighted the opportunity to implement joint programs in education, science, culture, sports, and youth for the development of bilateral relations.
“The relations between Armenia and Germany have gained new momentum, especially in culture. This document shows the expansion of cooperation,” said Andreasyan.
She also stressed the effective implementation of joint programs between the two countries.
Ambassador Claudia Busch congratulated both sides on the signing of the document. She said the memorandum lays a solid foundation for enhanced cooperation.
“Germany values deepening cooperation, particularly in culture and education,” the ambassador stated.
The Joint Declaration of Intent covers the exchange of experience and specialists between relevant institutions and organizations of both countries. It also includes cooperation in literature, theater, cinema, music, fine arts, museums, libraries, publishing, monuments, and the preservation of intangible cultural heritage.
