Serzh Sargsyan believes one day Turkey will recognize Armenian Genocide

YEREVAN, JANUARY 31, ARMENPRESS: Armenian Genocide international recognition is not just a moral issue, but priority as to Armenia's security. In the course of pre election campaign to Provinces Armenia's Presidential candidate Serzh Sargsyan had a meeting with Abovyan city residents. Serzh Sargsyan stated as long as Turkey continues to pursue a policy of denial, we can not exclude danger, Armenpress reports.

"This is a national security issue'' Sargsyan underscored. Serzh Sargsyan considers Armenian Genocide 100-year anniversary of great importance. Candidate is sure one day Turkey will recognize Armenian Genocide and whether it will be on the eve of 100th anniversary or after it Sargsyan found it difficult to say. President considered the recognition more possible after 100th anniversary events.

Presidential candidate stated for already seven years Turks are speculating '' Armenian tsunami'' scheduled by Armenian side on the eve of 100-year anniversary. Candidate Sargsyan called it foolishness to compare this process with tsunami.
