Shirak Province Erkrapah Union members visited Pantheon

YEREVAN, JANUARY 28, ARMENPRESS: Shirak Province Erkrapah Union members on the occasion of the 21th anniversary of formation of the Armed Forces of Armenia visited Shirak cemetery pantheon. The participants with a minute of silence honored the memory of their combat friends, and then moved to Gyumry Arts Academy, where they were welcomed by a gala concert.
''Efficient army we possess currently is a result of achievements by volunteer detachments, doubtless Armenian Army is one of the most efficient armies in the region.The changes conducted in the Army are tangible. In the days of Artsakh Liberation we were in need of everything, stemming from food up to arms and ammunition, whether currently we have anything, the head of Shirak branch of Erkrapah Union of Volunteers Yura Alexanyan stated in the briefing with Armenpress.
''My friends and I are proud with our Army'' Yura Alexanyan noted. Soldiers serving their combat duty in Armenian-Azerbaijani line of contact, and five contractual soldiers were awarded with Erkrapah volunteer medals in connection with the day.
