Bashar Assad discharged the Aleppo Governor and two ministers

Yerevan, August 16, ARMENPRESS: The Syrian President Bashar al-Assad removed the Ministers of justice and Industry from their office, as well as the Aleppo Governor, where the clashes between the government and opposition forces are ongoing.
As “Armenpress” reports citing the “France-Press”, Mohammad Vahid Akkad is appointed as a new Governor of Aleppo. The former Governor had assumed his position since August of 2011. The position of the Minister of Justice will occupy Najim Hammad al-Ahmad. The Minister of Industry will be Fuad Kurdi. The Syrian state television, informing the personnel changes, did not comment on their reasons.
