Vardan and Hayk Petrosyans to perform “battle” between fathers and sons

Yerevan, August 11, ARMENPRESS: Popular artist Vardan Petrosyan plans to perform a joint play with his son Hayk Petrosyan. The title of the performance will be “Return” and it will be given to the audience’s judgment when Hayk finishes his service in the army. As Vardan Petrosyan mentioned in the interview with “Armenpress” the performance maybe consistent with his last return to Armenia and son’s return home. “It will be a very ardent performance: fathers and sons, two generation, battle on the stage. The left side of the hall will be occupied by my fans, the right side by son’s fans, and we will see who will win”, the artist told the main idea of the performance.

To his word if Hayk decides to continue his artist activities, they will from time to time meet on the stage. “Now very often when I go on tours, they ask me why I did not take Hayk with me, I say, why not you call him. I do not want him to perform under my shadow”, mentioned elder Petrosyan adding that each person should organize his affairs himself, understand what difficulty, earning money are, one becomes stronger and tempered this way. Vardan Petrosyan somehow sees his youth in Hayk. “I have tried to bring up my two children crazily: I see that craziness in them”, he stated.

The artist admitted in the interview with “Armenpress” with the title of Vardan Petrosyan feels like in Space Freedom on stage, that he frequently tries to show black and white, two different poles in his performances, “as each person has contradictions”.
