YEREVAN, JULY 12, ARMENPRESS: Lawyer by profession, newly elected deputy of National Assembly Levon Martirosyan is sure that his profession can be directly favorable for the works of the Parliament but adds that id doesn’t mean that each deputy of National Assembly must have such education. Continuing the series of the interviews Armenpress talked with Levon Martirosyan.
- Mr. Martirosyan, the first discussion took place in the National Assembly. What kind of quality they had?
- I highly estimate the level of those discussions as many experienced political figures appeared in various parliamentary groups in both ruling and opposition parties. In future I am sure that the discussions also will be interesting taking into consideration the fact that there will be presidential elections. I think that political units will do their best to perform themselves well in the session hall of the Parliament.
- It means that you see healthy shades in the criticism of the opposition?
- I saw healthy shades in the speeches of the representatives of all parliamentary groups.
- How likely is that your party will join the Republican Party of Armenia?
- We have not ever had an issue to join RPA. If we wanted we would join. There is likelihood to join RPA but it is not issue of agenda yet. RPA and United Liberal National Party are parts of the same political team and implement the same political program.
