Serzh Sargsyan visited USA embassy

YEREVAN, JULY 4, ARMENPRESS: President of the Republic of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan visited USA Embassy and congratulated Ambassador John Heffern and the Embassy staff on behalf of United States people on the 236 anniversary of Independence declaration day .

President's press office informed Armenpress Serzh Sargsyan sent a congratulatory message to U.S President Barack Obama on Independence Day. The message particularly runs:

“I warmly congratulate you and USA friend people on Independence Day.It is extremely encouraging to see that supreme values of mankind declared in 18 th century by your country founders are actual especially for the people of the world who are still fighting for independence, freedom, justice and equality.

This year we are celebrating the 20 th anniversary of establishment of diplomatic relations between Armenia and the United States. I stress with proud that those relations have had upward development and currently are at their highest level. Surely the relations of our nations date earlier, have more profound history , reportedly American Armenian community had a tangible and visible role in the deepening of those ties, which connected our country with strong bridges.

On the threshold of third decade of intergovernmental relations we are concerned over the development of further partnership comprehensive relations with the United States .

I once again congratulate you on Independence Day; wish you and your people peace and prosperity. "
