GORIS, MARCH 13, ARMENPRESS. Since 2009 Goris town has been holding the Days of Francophonie March 15-April 15,aimed at boosting French language in their region. Goris city hall in cooperation with " Goris Francophone center" NGO is going to launch cultural, artistic and educational numerous events. In particular all the city schools, where French is taught as a foreign language kicked off a competition of compositions and art works entitled ''Armenian French friendship''. Anna Davtyan, Goris City Hall Public Relations Officer told Armenpress journalist in Synik that events dedicated to the holiday will be held at Goris State University, in NO.5 Kinder garden, which is under the patronage of a French Viennesister-city. Children will make performances in French. Holiday celebrations will be concluded in Goris town by a big concert, within the framework of which active pupils and students will be prized. Goris city hall will host French Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary.
A volunteer from France arrived Goris to assist in the work of holding appropriate level of events. French volunteer will also help Goris citizens in summer to arrange 20th anniversary events dedicated to sister-towns cooperation.
