Tsvetana Paskaleva confesses Karabakh war changed her life

YEREVAN, MARCH 13, ARMENPRESS. "The Wounds of Karabakh" film series must be presented to the whole world, director, of the film Tsvetana Paskaleva said at the meeting with reporters in Gyumri, adding that from the very beginning she did not know whether she will find strength to revive the tragedy. The film series is translated into six languages and includes Paskaleva's six films shot in 1991-1995 and the last one shot in 2001 about Shushi liberation.

"It was a matter of honor for me to present this heroic path I have shared with Armenian people. The Karabakh war changed my life, leaving deep wounds. The more I was in Karabakh, the more I was understanding that I want peaceful settlement of the issue. I do not regret that I have refused from post-graduate studies. Each person should be there where his/her fate has predicted. I should have been in Karabakh, by the side of this brave people," the author of the film noted.

Speaking about the Karabakh war, Paskaleva noted that the most important historical victory is the liberation of Shushi that gave the people spiritual wings and hope to rely on their own strength.

"I have sworn that I will tell the truth about Karabakh to the whole world. Artsakh people have all the historic and legal grounds for presenting their truth to the world. It is their national goal," Paskaleva said, stressing that President of Armenia has greatly assisted in creation of the film. The film has already reached success in Bulgaria. It appeared in the limelight of authoritative mass media of the country. The film series have been presented in Greece and Lebanon. "As far as new generation of leaders, political figures has come, it is necessary to again speak about Karabakh issue and present the truth to the whole world," Paskaleva said.
