President of Armenia to leave for Brussels

YEREVAN, MARCH 2, ARMENPRESS: Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan will leave for Brussels on a working visit March 5-7. Within the framework of the visit the President will participate in North-Atlantic Council+Armenia sitting and will deliver a speech at Konrad Adenauer Foundation, president's press service told Armenpress.

In Brussels Serzh Sargsyan will hold a number of meetings with high-ranking European officials: the president will meet with NATO Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen, President of the European Commission José Manuel Barroso, President of the European Council Herman Van Rompuy, European Parliament Speaker Martin Schulz, Commissioner for Enlargement and Neighborhood Policy Štefan Füle, European People's Party President Wilfried Martens. A meeting with the board of the Belgian parliament is planned as well.

The agenda of the working visit also intends Serzh Sargysna's meeting with representatives of Armenian organizations of Belgium.
