Former member of the Rule of Law Party Gagik Baghdasaryan to become member of the PAP, newspaper writes

The daily Yerkir writes that already former member of the Rule of Law Party Gagik Baghdasaryan in two weeks is going to become member of the Prosperous Armenia Party. The paper says it is not excluded that he will be included in the proportional list of the PAP. The paper says Baghdasaryan showed his sympathy toward the PAP by not voting for the ill-fated bill for which he was dismissed from the party. The paper says because of this bill the PAP boycotted the NA’s works.
The daily Yerkir writes that soon the editor of the “Literary Newspaper” will be replaced. The paper says incumbent editor Samvel Kosyan will be replaced by dramatist, former deputy minister of culture Karine Khodikyan. The paper says the leadership of the Writers Union has already approved the candidacy of Khodikyan and from March 1 she will assume her duties. The paper says it does not know whether the staff of the newspaper will be changed or not, it will be obvious in near future.
The daily Hraparak writes that women of the Republican Party of Armenia have kept their breath and are waiting for the decision of the President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan. The paper says during a three-day seminar organized by the RPA women’s council in Tsakhkadzor, among many issues, the issue of including women in the list of the RPA was also discussed. The paper says Serzh Sargsyan promised to refer to the issue in near future. The paper says it has learnt that the list will mainly consist of businesswomen. The paper says it is known that member of the Yerevan Council of Elders, director of “Gyumri Hydro Power Plant” and “Dzovashen Hydro Power Plant” companies Naira Nahapetyan will also be included in the list. The paper says speaking to the daily Nahapetyan said nothing is clear yet, the issue is being discussed.
The daily Zhoghovurd writes the Armenian National Congress will convene today a sitting to discuss ANC’s participation in the coming parliamentary elections. The paper says the congress must again discuss the proportional list, but the paper’s sources said this time no decision will be made. The paper says forming the election list is quite complicated issue for the ANC: the claimants are a lot, places limited. The paper also says the Congress is actively discussing the issue on nominating candidates in the majority constituencies. The paper says though the opposition representatives know they will be defeated they will have candidates in quite many constituencies.
