The daily Aravot writes in its editorial that when Georgia’s example is being brought as an opportunity of positive changes, authorities usually object: “The West gives them money, and does not give us.” The paper says it is the half of the truth. The West wants all the post-soviet countries be stable and predictable and the EU’s Eastern Partnership program is addressed to it. Those who are saying that Europe does not want us economically develop not to compete with developed countries, these people suffer from ungrounded arrogance, for competing or at least being compared we, to say the least, have a long way to pass, the editor writes. What systems ensure the above mentioned stability? Of course, first of all tax, customs, police, in one word law enforcers. If the West sees that the authorities of the country really want to reform the systems and if it also sees that there are enough literary people among the authorities there, they are ready to form and implement the program of reforms and I am sure in this case finding money for it is a technical issue, the editor writes.

The paper reminds that till now the deadline of the operation of the Metsamor was 2016.
