Gegharkunik joins “16 Days of Activism against Gender Violence” campaign

GAVAR, DECEMBER 7, ARMENPRESS:"Combating Gender-Based Violence in the South Caucasus" project organized in consultations room of Gegharkunik Governor Office a meeting-discussion dedicated to 16 Days of Activism against Gender Violence Campaign. Representatives of NGOs, employees of the sphere of education, schoolchildren participated in the meeting. Head of Combating Gender-Based Violence in the South Caucasus Jina Sargizova presented the prehistory, the goals and the mission of the "16 Days of Activism against Gender Violence" campaign.

Project Coordinator Jina Sargizova told Armenpress' correspondent that about 70 events, meeting-discussions in RA provinces, communities and in the capital are intended within the framework of the above-mentioned campaign. The meetings are organized in different circles, involving heads, pedagogues and clergymen.
