Turkish businessmen participate in “Shirak EXPO 2011” exhibition

GYUMRI, NOVEMBER 24, ARMENPRESS:
Annual "Shirak EXPO 2011" exhibition kicked off November 24 in Hoktember Cinema in Gyumri organized by the Shirak Competitiveness Center. This year, the event is organized as part of the "Support to Armenia-Turkey Rapprochement" project, supported by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and implemented by the Consortium of the Eurasia Partnership Foundation, Yerevan Press Club, International Center for Human Development and the Union of Manufacturers and Businessmen (Employers) of Armenia.
Director of Shirak Competitiveness Center Gayane Avagyan said unlike the previous years this time Turkish businessmen that participated in the Armenian-Turkish business forum partook in the event and presented their companies, got acquainted with the potential in Armenia.
Representatives of Lori and Tavush regions also attended the event. Different pavilions present products of food, textile, IT, shoes, building materials companies.
