Artavazd Varosyan elected mayor of Alaverdi

YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 13, ARMENPRESS:

Artavazd Varosyan has been elected mayor of the Armenian town of Alaverdi, after the former mayor Arthur Nalbandian has been appointed governor of Lori. Artavazd Varosyan was deputy mayor of the town. He was backed by 87% of voters. Member of the Communist party Kamo Babayan was backed only by 10%.
