GAVAR, AUGUST 29, ARMENPRESS:
Though the harvest gathering season has not started yet, some households of Gegharkunik province have already taken some harvest to the capital and sold in the agricultural market opened on the initiative of the Armenian Ministry of Agriculture.
Vrezh Melkonyan, director of Agricultural Support Center of Gegharkunik province, told Armenpress that mainly farmers of Getik, Zovaber, Lchashen, Karnirgyugh and Lanjaghbyur communities took their food to the market. They entered the market on the basis of certificates of Agricultural Support Center. The province agricultural support center assists the RA Ministry of Agriculture in consolidation of the newly-opened market and in realization of the products of rural households of the province.
The first steps are promising and give a basis to think that realization of harvest will not be a problem any more, as producers finally have the opportunity of entering a market, where they will pay neither for scales nor for place and clothes.
