Construction of Gyumri’s new medical center underway

GYUMRI, JULY 26, ARMENPRESS:

The construction works of the new multifunctional medical center of Gyumri that launched from June of the past year is intended to be completed till 2012. The construction is being carried out in the territory of the Gyumri's Austrian children's hospital funded by the World Bank. The new hospital will be ensured with all the necessary devices and furniture.

Head of the health department of the governor's office of Shirak Hovhannes Hovhannisyan told Armenpress that the construction works are passing in accordance with the schedule, they are expected to be competed in the coming year, though the builders promise to end works earlier from the established time.

"According to the project the building will consist of five storeys. The third storey has already been completed, in parallel to it the decoration works are being held. Consequently, the promise of the builders that the works will be completed by the end of the year may come true", Hovhannisyan said.
