Children’s center to operate in Kapan

KAPAN, MAY 18, ARMENPRESS:

The Council of Elders of Kapan has made a decision to create "Kapan town children's center" community non-trade organization. The goal of the center will be to implement social-psychological, pedagogical programs to help children in difficult situation.

"The center must promote the healthy development and welfare of the children through protection of their rights, strengthening families, uniting community resources", official from the Kapan town hall Svetlana Arzumanyan said speaking to Armenpress correspondent. "Cooperating with corresponding bodies and organizations the center will find children that appeared in difficult life situation", she added.

The center will function all year round. It will have a clear program of actions. Parents will also be involved in the implementation of the programs.
