JERMUK, MAY 17, ARMENPRESS:
Annual spring works on renovation of the rope way kicked off in Jermuk. "Every year, after winter, we are implementing checking and upgrading works to be able to receive our visitors appropriately", director of the rope way Armen Tadevosyan told Armenpress correspondent. According to him, all this is being done first for safety, and then for making the place attractive for tourists.
Besides, it is planned to organize trips – on foot and with horses. "The horses will be on the top, people will go up the mountain through the rope way, from there they will move to Arpa gorge. They will be accompanied by guides who will help them fix tents, find water and ensure their safety", Tadevosyan said.
Jermuk's cable way is working all year round receiving averagely 16 000-18 000 visitors.
