“Dialogue of Cultures: The Global Culture and Armenia” Session in Gyumri

GYUMRI, MAY 2, ARMENPRESS: The 5th “Dialogue of Cultures: The Global Culture and Armenia” international session will be convoked May 6-8 at the Gyumri branch of the State Conservatory after Komitas. The session is dedicated to the 90th anniversary of Edward Mirzoyan, composer, USSR People’s Artist.

Hasmik Harutyunyan, musicologist, coordinator of the conference, told Armenpress that the scientific conference will give an opportunity to estimate once again the composer’s creations.

Over 60 reports by representatives of prominent scientific and educational centers from Armenia and abroad will be presented during the conference. Roundtables, discussion will be organized within the framework of the conference. A collection of the conference reports is expected to be published as well.
