Criminal cases open in Syunik on oxygen cylinder explosion

KAPAN, APRIL 29, ARMENPRESS:

Two criminal cases opened in Syunik investigation department connected with the explosions in Kajaran and Kapan April 26 and 27. The criminal cases opened according to the 2 part of Article 230 on violation of safety rules during the implementation of mining, construction works causing death or grave injuries to people. In both cases – in Zangezur copper-molybdenum plant and Kapan's road construction company's asphalt plant oxygen cylinders exploded during the boiling works. As a result two people died, three received different injuries.

Armenpress correspondent reports from Syunik that the two cylinders were filled in one point. Investigation is in process.
