Armenia, Benin sign diplomatic passport visa waiver agreement

On the sidelines of the 81st session of the UN General Assembly in New York, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Trade of the Republic of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Benin Corinne Amori Brunet signed two agreements aimed at facilitating travel and strengthening cooperation between the two countries.

According to the ministry’s press release, the first agreement exempts holders of diplomatic and service passports from visa requirements.

The second is a memorandum of understanding on cooperation in diplomatic training between the two countries’ foreign ministries.
