Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko, on behalf of the Belarusian people and himself, congratulated the Armenian people on the national holiday, Independence Day.
According to the congratulatory message published on the official website of the Belarusian President, Lukashenko said that the 35th anniversary of Armenia gaining sovereignty symbolises the Armenian people’s aspiration for free and self-determined development and the preservation of their rich culture.
The Belarusian President stressed that today, as the world faces serious challenges, friendly ties that have stood the test of time are more valuable than ever.
“Minsk and Yerevan are united not only by shared pages of history, but also by the sincere affinity between our peoples, which provides a solid foundation for an open and constructive partnership,” the congratulatory message reads.
Lukashenko wished the Armenian people stability and confidence in the future.
“May harmony and joy reign in every home,” the Belarusian President added.
