People-centered healthcare system is our guideline, says minister

Minister of Health Anahit Avanesyan has held a meeting with officials to discuss the planned healthcare measures included in the government’s 2026-2031 program.
During the meeting, Avanesyan highlighted the importance of achieving a “people-centered” healthcare system.
“Our guideline is to have a people-centered healthcare system, continuously developing and expanding infrastructure, and a healthy society,” Anahit Avanesyan said, according to a press release issued by the ministry.
During the staff meeting, the Minister introduced new officials who have joined the healthcare team and also thanked former Deputy Ministers Armen Gasparyan and Levon Hakobyan for their work. They will continue to contribute their potential and capabilities to the health system, she said.
The Minister gave specific instructions for organizing the work, emphasizing the importance of the timely and effective implementation of the goals envisaged by the program.
