Armenia eyes expanding exports to Benelux countries

Deputy Minister of Economy Anushik Avetyan received a delegation from the Netherlands Enterprise Agency’s CBI, the Centre for the Promotion of Imports from Developing Countries. 

According to the Ministry of Economy’s readout, the meeting discussed opportunities for cooperation aimed at expanding Armenia’s export potential, promoting the entry of Armenian products into European markets, particularly the Netherlands and other Benelux countries, and organizing export processes.

Referring to CBI’s continued support for Armenian companies producing and exporting dried fruits, the sides emphasized the importance of expanding the program to enable more Armenian companies to benefit from export development and market-entry tools.

They also discussed matters related to organizing a market research mission to the Netherlands and another European country planned for October 2026, as well as holding B2B meetings as part of the mission.

The sides also exchanged views on access to information about target markets, strengthening exporters’ capabilities and readiness, identifying potential partners, establishing business contacts, and deepening further cooperation with exporting companies.
