Bahrain’s military has announced that it destroyed 78 missiles and 143 drones that targeted the country’s territory in recent days, Al Jazeera reported.
Meanwhile, Kuwaiti authorities announced that since February 28, the country’s military has intercepted and neutralized 212 ballistic missiles and 394 drones.
Al Arabiya reported citing authorities that 67 Kuwaiti servicemen have been injured since the start of the attacks. The report noted that this is the highest number of wounded among the armed forces of all Gulf countries since the conflict began.
Qatar has also reported intercepting missiles and drones that targeted the American Al Udeid Air Base.
The U.S. and Israel launched what they described as a pre-emptive strike against Iran on February 28, claiming that Tehran was developing a nuclear weapon and posing a threat—an allegation Iran has denied. In response, Iran launched counterattacks, firing missiles and drones at Israel, as well as at U.S. assets and other targets across the Middle East. The hostilities are escalating, with heavy airstrikes reported in the region.
