The Golden Globe Awards have been handed out in Los Angeles, honoring the best in film and television of the past year.
“One Battle After Another” capped a huge night by winning four trophies, including best film in the musical or comedy category and screenplay and directing prizes for Paul Thomas Anderson. “Hamnet,” a tragic, fictionalized tale about Shakespeare’s family, won the Globe for best drama, CNN reported.

Netflix’s acclaimed limited series “Adolescence” led the way with four awards. Medical drama “The Pitt” won best drama series and an acting award for Noah Wyle. Timothée Chalamet won best male actor in a musical or comedy for his role as a hustling ping pong prodigy in “Marty Supreme.” Teyana Taylor gave a tearful acceptance speech after taking home the first award of the night, for her supporting role in “One Battle.”
