Armenian consulate in Aleppo remains open despite clashes

The Consulate General of Armenia in Aleppo stated that it continues to operate and provide services to Armenian and foreign nationals. The consulate can be reached by phone at +963 964 422 005 or +963 942 000 690 for consular matters.

Al Jazeera reported earlier on Tuesday that at least seven people—including six civilians and a Syrian soldier—have been killed in renewed clashes between the Syrian army and the Kurdish-led SDF, with both sides blaming each other for the casualties.

According to preliminary reports, there have been no casualties among Aleppo’s sizeable Armenian community.
