Armenia seeks to establish strategic partnership with Iran

Armenia wants to sign a strategic partnership agreement with Iran, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said.

“Our relations with the Islamic Republic of Iran are at a very high level, and we do, indeed, wish to sign a strategic partnership document with Iran as well,” he said when asked at a press briefing whether the two countries could sign a strategic partnership deal and what can be expected in terms of developing ties with Iran in 2026.
