During the visit, the hospital director presented to the ministers the full range of medical and rehabilitation services provided, highlighting in particular programs in equine-assisted therapy (hippotherapy), burn treatment, and neuromuscular diseases. The hospital serves both local patients and those coming from abroad, with special attention given to children.
The ministers also visited the department dedicated to individuals with neuromuscular diseases, where clinical trials of modern medications are being conducted to improve treatment effectiveness for patients.
As a result of the discussions, the following agreements were reached:
To collaborate with the Hippotherapy Center of the Specialized Children’s Care Center of Kharberd; To jointly initiate cooperation with the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Armenia and with medical and rehabilitation centers that serve patients with neuromuscular atrophy and dystrophy; To establish cooperation in the provision of specific services to patients, with the aim of exchanging experience and implementing joint programs.
