Train carrying Kazakh wheat arrives in Armenia via Kazakhstan, Russia, Azerbaijan and Georgia railway route

A train loaded with Kazakh wheat has arrived in Armenia, passing through Kazakhstan, Russia, Azerbaijan and Georgia.

The train transported about 1,000 tons of wheat, the Office of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia said in a readout.

The supply of wheat to Armenia became possible following the lifting of all restrictions on cargo transit through Azerbaijani territory, which contributes to the restoration of regional communications and the promotion of economic cooperation within the framework of the agreements reached in Washington.

Recently, a train carrying Russian wheat to Armenia also arrived via Azerbaijan and Georgia.
