Armenian Speaker of Parliament receives Saudi delegation

Speaker of Parliament Alen Simonyan held a meeting with a delegation led by Ali bin Mohammed Al-Shahrani, the Head of the Saudi Arabia-Armenia Friendship Group at the Consultative Assembly of Saudi Arabia.

The discussions focused on a wide range of issues related to the deepening of bilateral relations, including the development of political ties as well as topics concerning mutual economic interests, the parliament’s press service reported.

The sides also touched upon issues related to the peace process between Armenia and Azerbaijan, paying special attention to the Crossroads of Peace project.
