Armenian Ambassador presents credentials to Syrian President Ahmed al-Sharaa

Armenian Ambassador to Syria Ruben Kharazyan has presented his credentials to President Ahmed al-Sharaa.
Following the ceremony, a meeting was held between Ambassador Kharazyan and the Syrian President, with Foreign Minister Asaad al-Shaibani also in attendance, the Armenian Embassy said in a press release.
During the conversation, the ambassador spoke about the prospects of Armenian-Syrian cooperation. He noted that Armenia and Syria have significant potential for collaboration, based on the millennia-old ties between their peoples.
Ambassador Kharazyan informed President al-Sharaa of Armenia’s readiness to strengthen relations in political, economic, cultural, humanitarian, and other fields.
“Armenia seeks to give new impetus to bilateral relations and deepen cooperation in all possible areas,” the ambassador said.
