Education is the key to solving every problem facing Armenia, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan reiterated on Thursday.
"Please forgive me for repeating myself," said the Prime Minister at the Cabinet meeting, "but I am once again convinced—there is not a single issue whose solution does not involve education. Looking back on my work both as Prime Minister and as a Member of Parliament, I cannot recall a single matter whose resolution did not have education at its core. If a proposed direction does not pass through education, then it is not a real solution—it’s merely a formulation that will yield no results."
He emphasized that the government must also lead society through awareness and by example—demonstrating how problems can be prevented and solved through an educated, informed approach.
"The government must lead by informing people, showing them the path, so that we do not reach a point where help becomes nothing more than consolation. Today, we can help through this very method—by enabling each individual to help themselves," Pashinyan concluded.
The Prime Minister made the remarks in the context of Breast Cancer Awareness Month and the need for women to follow recommended guidelines for regular screenings and early diagnosis. Cabinet members, including the PM, were seen wearing ribbons to raise awareness. Health Minister Anahit Avanesyan highlighted the importance of regular screenings and public awareness and the PM linked the issue to education.
