Pashinyan, Renaud-Basso discuss Armenia-EBRD cooperation

Within the framework of the second Global Gateway Forum in Brussels, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan met with Odile Renaud-Basso, President of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), the Prime Minister’s Office said in a readout.
The parties discussed current cooperation programs and development opportunities between Armenia and the EBRD.
Pashinyan emphasized the bank’s involvement in various sectors of the Armenian economy, particularly in initiatives aimed at developing infrastructure, energy, communication, and digital technologies.
Renaud-Basso reaffirmed the EBRD’s commitment to actively support the Armenian government’s strategic reforms and programs that contribute to the development of private sector potential.
The sides also exchanged views on new opportunities in the areas of green energy, sustainable development and improving the investment climate.
