France to assist Armenia in organizing 2027 Francophonie Games

Arayik Harutyunyan, Chief of Staff of the Prime Minister’s Office of Armenia, met in Paris with members of a working group consisting of representatives of various French departments, headed by Pierre-Antoine Molina, Interministerial Delegate for the Olympic and Paralympic Games.
According to a readout from the Prime Minister’s Office, the meeting marked the launch of France-Armenia exchanges aimed at presenting the experience of the Paris 2024 Games and Major International Sporting Events (GESI). The French experience will be taken into account in the process of organizing and hosting the Francophonie Games to be held in Armenia in 2027.
Harutyunyan noted that this experience is of great importance for carrying out further work at a high level. Molina emphasized that they are ready to share technical and practical capabilities, providing the necessary assistance to Armenian partners.
