Exports from Armenia have dropped 52.8% in the first half of 2025, but exports of Armenian-made products have increased by 10.3%, according to Finance Minister Vahe Hovhannisyan.
“Exports from Armenia decreased by 52.8%,” he said at a budget discussion in the parliamentary committee on fiscal and budgetary affairs. “The reason for this is the abrupt decrease in the re-exportation of gold, silver, and platinum. But the most important and good news is that exports of Armenian-origin products increased by 10.3%.”
Imports dropped by 38.6%, again due to the drop in re-exportation, he said. Excluding the impact of re-exportation, the growth in imports stood at 7%, the minister added.
