Armenia’s public debt reached $14.07 billion as of March 2026

As of March 31, 2026, Armenia’s public debt amounted to 5 trillion 311 billion drams, or 14 billion 68 million dollars, according to Finance Minister Vahe Hovhannisyan.
The minister told lawmakers at a committee hearing that, compared to December 31, 2025, public debt had increased by 11 billion drams.
“As of March 31, the public debt amounts to 5 trillion 311 billion drams, which is only 11 billion drams more than on December 31,” Hovhannisyan said. “Expressed in dollars, our debt amounts to 14 billion 68 million dollars.”
